💡 You + Saturday Rucking = True?This Saturday, and the next ones, we invite you to spend a few daylight hours in a supportive environment for both your mental health and your physical health. It's open to all ages.
Rucking is walking with a ruck (backpack) with weight in it, it doesn't have to be more complicated than that. We ruck through the city.
Why though?
Health is wealth and all, but maybe you ...
... want more daylight.
... want to be in an environment where you will most likely want to leave your phone on Silent for a few hours.
... clear your head.
... have ambitions for longer, more demanding hikes.
... want to be physically active.
... maybe you're in recovery from an injury.
... maybe you just want to have some fun and be challenged too.
How?
Through focusing on collective behavior and teamwork, we use adversity and challenges to build camaraderie and a sense of belonging. Our experience is that we form bonds in a more authentic way when we do something challenging together with others. Trust us, the research was done. Feel free to ask for source citations. ;-)
🎁 Free Merch? What?
In addition to fun, you will also get a silicone wristband saying "What you go through, you grow through". Actually, we have 5 different ones that you can choose from - and stickers too!
💳 Price
There is no cost or fee, except from smiles and effort. (We're actually kind of paying you since we are bribing you with merch.)
That means no sign-up fees or membership costs, or anything like that.
ℹ️ Everything you need to know:
When: Saturday at 12:00 PM. We're back at the starting point by 3:00 PM.
Where: Oslo S, by track 18, outside the Espresso House.
What: An 8–10 km walk in the city center with others like you – Norwegians, other Scandinavians, and English-speaking expats.
This event is in no way connected to politics or religion.
✅️ What to bring:
- A bottle of water / something to drink for hydration
- A good pair of shoes
- A backpack with some weight in it (a weight vest works too)
- Do consider bringing spikes (brodder) for your shoes as well, the ground might be slippery some places

We do prefer and expect new people to start with lower weights.
