Since its founding in 1990, the Rose City Pride Bands has been a place for LGBTQ+ musicians and supportive friends to play, perform, and participate in Portland’s musical community. Today, the Rose City Pride Bands comprises a wind symphony, a symphonic band, a swing band, and a marching band and colorguard, as well as several smaller performing groups.
