About this Event

The Road Home is a trauma‑informed, community‑centered conference designed to support veterans as they navigate the complex transition from military service back into civilian life. The theme is: 'Our Voices, Our Resilience.' This event creates a safe, reflective environment where attendees can explore the mental health challenges, identity shifts, and reintegration barriers veterans often face.

Featuring award‑winning filmmaker and actor Robert X. Golphin, the conference highlights his acclaimed short film “Chest Candy,” a compelling examination of the invisible wounds carried by service members and the emotional realities of returning home. Through film, dialogue, and shared learning, participants will gain deeper insight into veterans’ experiences and discover practical, compassionate approaches to supporting their journey forward.

This forum is hosted by Leadership Empowerment Enterprise, Robert X. Golphin Entertainment, Q.U.E. Wellness & Training Consulting and NextOp Veterans.
