The 29th Annual Torch Awards for Ethics will be held Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jackson Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
For nearly three decades, BBB North Alabama’s Torch Awards have recognized local organizations that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to ethical leadership and business practices.
Do you know a North Alabama organization that leads with integrity, treats its customers fairly and makes a positive difference in its community? Nominate it for a Torch Award!
Organizations do not have to be BBB Accredited to be nominated. Eligible applicants must:
• Be located within BBB North Alabama’s 13-county service area
• Have a BBB rating of “B” or higher
• Have been in business for at least three years
• Have met all financial obligations
• Not have received a Torch Award within the past five years
• Not be a government agency
Applicants are evaluated in four areas: Character, Culture, Customers and Community.
Winners may also be eligible to compete nationally in the International Association of Better Business Bureaus’ International Torch Awards for Ethics.
Nominations close Friday, Aug. 28, 2026.
