The rivers and us: photo walk along the Ouse towards Homestead Park

Join us for an intimate mindful Photo Walk along the banks of the River Ouse capturing the sights on and near the river. Bring whatever camera you have, whether it's your Phone, a point & shoot or a fancy big camera...the best camera in the world is the one you have with you.

We will meander at the River's pace from Scarborough Bridge (St Peter's side) to Homestead Park, taking in the sights and sounds of the Ouse. Plenty of time to think, look, take pictures and appreciate the amazing body of water we have flowing through the City of York.

Suitable for all: families welcome, children suggested age 6+

Walk time - around 1hr 15mins

The route is accessible for walkers and wheelers

Please wear sensible walking footwear and bring water if it is a hot day

Meet at - where Dame Judi Dench Walk meets Joseph Rowntree Walk - see map below with red circle. If you are coming from the Staiton it's a short walk over Scarborough Bridge then steps or a ramp down onto Dame Judi Dench Walk.
