Where nature’s healing ingredients, mindful rituals, and sisterhood unite to empower, restore, and soothe your soul.
About this Event

Step into a sacred space of healing and transformation with the spirit of Rose.

The experience begins with a grounding practice, allowing you to center yourself and release the outside world. Then, Herbalist and Ceremonialist Nora Luce guides you into a tea ceremony featuring the healing power of Rose – a flower celebrated for centuries for its ability to soothe the heart. After experiencing it within your own self and receiving healing from the plant, we will review a plant profile of the folklore, historical uses and medical botany.

Then, Esthetician and Mindfulness Guide Kristal takes us step by step on a journey of self-love through a water ritual using her skincare line. We will cleanse ourselves of self-doubt and that which does not serve us and accept the love, peace, and comfort from healing ingredients Mother Nature created for us.

By the end of the session, you will feel a deep connection to the healing plants that nourish both body and soul, experiencing a lighter, softer version of yourself. With a newfound sense of compassion, you’ll embrace the gentle flow of love and peace within, allowing it to radiate outward as you honor your true essence.

WHY ATTEND?

  • Open ourselves up to our own inner compassion on public land.
  • Learn the botanical medicine and historical use of Rose.
  • Gather with kindred spirits on a shared journey of transformation.
  • Nurture your skin health, leaving you radiant, refreshed, and glowing from within.

This gathering is offered in a sliding scale of $35-$55.

We are committed to making this gathering accessible to all, so we’ve created a sliding scale for the event fee. Please choose the payment level that best reflects your current financial situation. Your contribution helps support the event and allows us to offer tickets to those who may need financial assistance.

  • $45 (Base Rate): This is the standard donation, which helps cover the cost of the event and supports the materials, plants, and space needed for our gathering. By choosing this rate, you’re ensuring your participation and supporting the overall event.
  • $35(For Those in Financial Need): If you are experiencing financial hardship, this lower rate is available to make the event more accessible. No questions asked—this rate is for you if the full price feels like a stretch.
  • $55(Paying It Forward): If you're in a position to give a little more, this rate helps cover the cost of the event and supports others who may need financial assistance. Your generosity helps make this gathering possible for someone else and contributes to the sustainability of future events.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS

Nora Luce is a local folk herbalist who serves the community at the local farmer's market with her company Critical Ritual. She has a passion for sharing her many years of education in medical botany and folk herbalism. Her desire is for this community to have more awareness of the abundance of plant medicine that surrounds us in this city and the re-awakening of more medicine people on this land. Learn more about her and her offerings on www.criticalritual.co

Kristal is a local, professional Esthetician who created, developed, and hand-makes her own organic skincare line called Daily Comfort by Kristal. She grew up learning to cook with her Italian grandmother who would send her out to their garden for fresh herbs, which is where she gained an appreciation for nature, hard work, and creativity. Kristal developed Daily Comfort by Kristal as a 4-step skincare system made to completely rehydrate and nourish the skin and comfort the soul using ingredients such as local essential oils, raw, organic butters, and pure, distilled flowers and extracts.Learn more about her on www.dailycomfortbykristal.com
