Ringside Charitable Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing long‑term support and a future residential care home for retired fighters who are struggling with physical injuries, mental health issues, addiction, or hardship after boxing.

Why this charity matters
Like myself, many people have had help from coaches at amateur boxing clubs and, for some, at professional clubs too. Without these coaches and volunteers who give up their free time, often for no pay, many boxers would never have made it in the sport or in life.
Boxing is often seen as a poor man’s sport and some people think of it as a thugs’ sport, but many also see it as a gentleman’s sport. People from all races and backgrounds mix together in clubs, get along, and look out for one another. The discipline, structure, and support in the gym keep a lot of people out of trouble, and that is down to the coaches and everyone involved who quietly help people, including me, over the years.
Ringside Charitable Trust aims to change how we care for our boxing family by creating a specialist care home with medical support, short‑ and long‑term care, and a safe place for ex‑boxers to live with dignity, similar to what exists in other sports but is still missing in boxing.
*What the charity does
Provides support for ex‑boxers affected by depression, alcohol or substance abuse, illness, injury, and the long‑term effects of fighting.
▪︎Plans to build a dedicated residential home of around 36 beds, with medical facilities, social spaces, and a place where former fighters can live among people who understand their journeys.

▪︎Offers a focal point for the boxing community to give something back to those who entertained crowds and gave everything in the ring but have been left with very little support in retirement.

▪︎Everyone will need there own insurance and bikes need to be road worthy and I Ben Tagliarini do not take any responsibility for anyone but myself on this ride, or any wrong doings by anyone.
▪︎All funds raised for the Ringside Charitable Trust Charity will be going to them only!
▪︎Im doing this ride as a one off, off of my own back, I will not be receiving any help from this charity while doing the ride for funds/expenses as im riding for fun and leisure but also trying raise money for a good cause doing a good deed to give something back, killing 2 birds with 1 stone, ill be having a little motorbike holiday away on my bike at same time being with freinds and also some may wish to join just for the ride! It's not compulsory to send funds to Ringside Charitable Trust but will be great help even if you can only send £1 minium via the links provided.
If any money has been raised I will post it so everyone can see along with photos also.
▪︎Im not working for anybody nore will I be receiving payments from this charity nore anyone else for this ride, it is purely for fun relaxing time out on my bike with freinds while trying to raise awareness and show my support for ex boxers in need. Im looking forward to this ride, ive wanted to do a Charity ride for long time now and will be working independently on this!

🇬🇧If big time promoters can please donate £1 per ticket sold and small promoters just 30pence then you will be more valued as seen as looking after Boxers, in my eyes that's RESPECT if you PROMOTORS Can look after your people better incase bad times arise for some boxers as THE RINGSIDE CHARITABLE TRUST will have then enough funds to help alot more i.e Build a care home!
Now that's not a bad deal after all and will be the right THING TO DO!
