A very very welcome return after a few years away, and a chance for a fun and intimate experience with one of the UK's most popular swing big band's; this is 16 pieces of pure swing power most usually only found at festivals and weekenders. With the areas best swing dancers in tow, it's sure to be a swing riot.
Dashing, Debonair, Dandy, and Dapper, this is swing music sounding and looking pretty pretty good.
Being on home turf The Big R will be taking the opportunity to play a larger than usual selection of quicker numbers alongside their usual mid tempo swingers, perfect for all Balboa & Shag dancers to get on the floor.
Get there early to avoid disappointment, it has been packed every time Big R have played The Canteen.
It's free entry so please support the bar by buying drinks and/or food. And please support the band with a donation, come and find Richie who will have his card reader, cash also welcome.
