New South Wales’ country rock and roll pioneers The Re-Mains return to the Lomond on April 17 in cahoots with a mystery band made up of known heads from much loved local outfits.Undiminished and unabashed, the Re-Mains are in the studio working on their ninth album of new songs and another of all the country rock and roll anthems they never recorded.
Look out for a rip-roaring night of top notch country rock and roll.
With a history a quarter of a century long, the Re-mains are a natural extension of what Bob Dylan kicked-off at the Newport folk Festival in '65. They deliver with the deft toughness and fire that could only be forged on the Australian pub-rock circuit. With no gimmicks, The Re-mains speak directly of Australia via Country Rock 'n' Roll.
Featuring the songs of enigmatic front-man Mick Daley and the steel and electric guitar power of Leigh Ivin, The NSW quartet have played every corner of Australia over and over, along with Europe and North America – 1200 gigs and counting.
