The Radical Act of Nourishment
About this Event
About the Programme:
Modern life has systematically disconnected us from the origins of our food and the communities that sustain us, leading to a "cultural malnutrition" where we are physically fed but emotionally and spiritually starved. By moving beyond the clinical definitions of nutrition and returning to the holistic practice of nourishment, we reclaim our right to be well on our own terms.
This is part of a series of gatherings for the launch of the second volume of @thewhitebooksg
About the Book:
The second volume of White brings us to an intrinsic element of our lives and community: food. More than mere sustenance, food offers a universal language that helps break down barriers and invites deeper conversations. Through a blend of recipes, essays and interviews, this volume highlights how food can create intimate spaces for us to connect to our personal and collective well-being.
