About this Event
🎶 Take It To The Streets: Youth Street Dance Foundations
Step into the world of street dance in this high‑energy, beginner‑friendly programme designed for youths to move, vibe and express themselves through dance.
Through music, movement and guided activities, participants will learn the foundations of street dance while building confidence, coordination and creativity in a fun, supportive and judgment‑free space.
✨ This is a phone‑free experience to help youths stay fully present, connect with one another and enjoy the moment together.
🌟 What Youths Will Gain
By the end of the session, participants will:
- 🎧 Learn street dance foundations through engaging movement activities that develop rhythm, musicality, coordination and body awareness
- 💃 Build confidence & self‑expression with choreography, grooves and freestyle exploration in a supportive group setting
- 🧠 Practise mindfulness through movement, staying present with the music and body to enhance focus, relaxation and well‑being
- 🤝 Connect with peers, work as a team and discover their own unique dance style and personality
No dance experience needed—just bring your energy and an open mind!

Trainer Bio:
Xenon is a Singapore-based waacking artist, street dance educator, and event organiser. He has competed and performed internationally across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Taiwan, earning recognition for his expressive musicality, character, and stage presence. Beyond competing, he has also been invited to judge overseas battles, sharing his expertise and perspective on the global street dance scene.
He is also the co-founder of Chute Collective, a street dance startup focused on building platforms for dancers through curated events, competitions, and community-driven initiatives. As a teacher, Xenon emphasizes strong foundations, freestyle development, and authentic self-expression, while encouraging dancers to move with confidence, awareness, and individuality.
