The Quiet Space with Neville Talbot

In October, we're excited to welcome an artist already well-known in the region to The Quiet Space for the first time. Neville Talbot, the multi-talented percussionist, singer and conductor (among other things) will give us our musical support this month. Neville is a highly-regarded household name for both community and professional music in WA, and we're thrilled he can take a moment out of his busy schedule to try out our unique setting.
The Quiet Space is for the community to enjoy a safe, neutral place of calm and tranquility for an hour each month. Local musicians enhance the atmosphere with ambient background music. Contributions towards keeping these events going are welcomed in a donation bowl near the entrance. Walk-in, walk-out any time - it's not a concert or a church service, just a moment to put aside the distractions of the everyday for dedicated "you-time".
This community outreach event occurs at Wesley Church at 2pm monthly except December, and is a service brought to you by Albany Uniting Church.
