The Practice x Cathy Munzer: High Intensity Release Experience

The Practice, created by Lizzie Mizenko, is to hold space for students who want an experience deeper than a typical physical workout - a spiritual workout. We can practice Asana (posture) and Prana (breath) all day in our classes, but why are we even doing it? What is happening to our internal when we are moving our external? Then how do we take our practice on the mat off the mat and into our daily lives?

This is your practice. This is my practice. This is our practice. This is The Practice. Let's begin.

What to expect:

• Get ready to feel the burn and sweat!
• Stakt mats and face sweat towels provided
• Water fountain available
• Cardio-driven body weight movement led by Cathy
• Mat pilates body weight movement led by Lizzie
• Mini sound bath with crystal quartz bowls and tibetan bowls, in addition to other sound instruments end of pratice
• Surprises of various brand samples and info

About the instructors:

Lizzie Mizenko

Lizzie is a RYT 500-hour yoga instructor and sound healer in NYC who currently teaches at CorePower Yoga and Y7 Studio. Back in 2019, Lizzie was introduced to Mindfulness in therapy sessions for her heightened anxiety in post-grad life. This led her down a lengthy path of continued inner work and healing that pours into her classes today. Lizzie wants students to know that the practice on self is continuous and never ends. You may fall off the practice for a certain time period, but you are always welcome to step back in and begin again.

Cathy Munzer

Cathy is a Power Pilates Certified and RYT 200-hour yoga instructor in NYC who grew up in Manhattan studying dance and acting since 6 years old. Her health and wellness journey began in 1998 teaching various fitness class formats specializing in sculpt ,pilates, and yoga with a mission to help make my her students  and clients the best versions of themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually.
