About this Event
Join the Brown University Education Department for a panel discussion on the transformative impact of teacher residency programs on the stakeholders, communities, and institutions involved. Panelists include Diana Turk, Director of Teacher Education at New York University; Kathlene Holmes Campbell, CEO of the National Center for Teacher Residencies, and Katie Rieser, Director of Teacher Education at Brown University. Moderated by John Palella, Lecturer in Education at Brown University, this conversation will explore how residency programs are shaping the future of teaching by preparing educators who are not only ready for the classroom but also committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in education. Come listen, ask a question, and enjoy food and conversation with the Education Department.
