The power of creating kind workplaces

Introduced by Strategic Executive Team member and kindness at work advocate Rashmi Patel and open to all staff, this event will celebrate kindness and explore how everyday acts of kindness can shape a more positive, inclusive and supportive workplace.

We’ll look at what kindness really means, how it links to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and the benefits it brings to wellbeing, collaboration and team culture.

When colleagues experience kindness, they are more likely to speak up, engage positively with others, and feel a genuine sense of belonging. Through shared examples and practical reflections, you’ll discover simple ways to practise intentional kindness and leave with a personal action plan to help make kindness part of your daily work.

Attendees will be invited (but not required) to share examples of kindness they’ve experienced at work, so have a think in advance of examples you could share. These stories help us recognise the positive impact our actions can have and inspire others to adopt similar behaviours.
