Despite everything, the good is still worth fighting for.Join us for an inspiring afternoon of poetry with the Despite Everything tour, celebrating resilience, creativity, and connection. Experience the voices of local and national poets:
Masaki Takahashi – Lansing Poet Laureate 2022–2024
Claire Donohoe – Co-host of The Poetry Room
Truth the Poet – Flint, MI
RJ Walker – National touring poet who writes poems on a typewriter for anyone who needs them

Poetry Reading: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Poetry Workshop: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Who should attend: Teens & Adults (Ages 14+)
