Join us for an afternoon of live music, good company and community as we launch our Live Lounge Sessions at The Padded Cell.
This first event is especially meaningful to us as we quietly celebrate the life of Karen Russ, whose love, kindness and legacy helped shape so much of what The Padded Cell has become. Her belief in bringing people together continues to inspire everything we do, and this afternoon is our way of honouring that through music, conversation and connection.
Whether you'd simply like to sit back and enjoy some fantastic live performances, or you've always wanted to experience performing in front of a friendly audience, we'd love to welcome you.
We'll have an open mic throughout the afternoon, with a live house band supporting anyone who would like to sing or perform. It's a relaxed, encouraging environment designed to help people build confidence, enjoy music and share their talent without judgement. Whether it's your first time on a microphone or you've performed for years, there's a place for you.
Bring your friends, bring your family, enjoy a coffee, meet new people and spend an afternoon surrounded by music and positivity.
At The Padded Cell, we believe wellbeing isn't always about therapy. Sometimes it's about belonging, expressing yourself, finding confidence and sharing moments that remind us we're not alone.
