The Oxford Community Passion Play 2026

Welcome to The Oxford Community Passion Play 2026! Join us at Bonn Square on April 4, 2026 at 12 noon or 2.30pm for a performance filled with passion, drama, and community spirit. Experience the re-enactment of the biblical story of Jesus' final days and resurrection, brought to life by talented local performers. Both performances open in Bonn Square with a Gospel Choir followed by dancing and singing to celebrate the Wedding Feast in Cana, moving into New Road Baptist Church for the remaining performance. All those involved in the play are volunteers from all walks of life but sharing the joyful aim of bringing the community spirit of Easter alive in the centre of Oxford.
