The Orchestrator Presents: Sunset Lofi Jazz Cafe

The Sunset Lofi Jazz Café series at The Shop at MATTER is a sunset-inspired, non-alcoholic jazz series supported by Denver Arts & Venues and presented by The Orchestrator — Guinness World Record holder and two-time Best of Denver Westword winner.

Designed to unite Denver’s jazz community, the series partners with local venues and businesses to uplift independent musicians and strengthen the city’s creative ecosystem.

The Orchestrator is a genre-defying saxophonist and creative visionary rooted in Denver, Colorado, and a dual citizen of Brazil. Fusing jazz, bossa nova, lofi, and cinematic flair, The Orchestrator is on a mission to reclaim musical spaces from excessive corporate influence and build community through authentic, soul-stirring performances. His immersive live sets feature improvisational saxophone layered with lush textures and deep basslines—an organic counterpoint to the algorithmic world of AI-generated music.
After a spiritual encounter with a hummingbird in Morrison, Colorado, The Orchestrator picked up the saxophone and taught himself to play by ear. In the years since, he has become a force in the independent music scene, selling out iconic venues like the Bluebird Theater, Meow Wolf Denver & Santa Fe, Marquis Theater, and Globe Hall. His track “Jazz Wobbles” has surpassed 2 million streams, and his single “Alissa” and "IDGAFNK" reached #1 on the iTunes Jazz Charts. He’s been featured in 5280 Magazine, ABC7 Denver, Westword Magazine, and has earned back-to-back "Best of Denver" awards for Best Sexy Saxophone and Best Multi-Instrumentalist.

ACCESSIBILITY

Parking: Metered street parking is available (parallel parking) on Market St. Paid lots are available within a few blocks. The closest one is on 21st and Market St.

Entrance Access: Our front door is at street level and manually operated, accessible for wheelchairs and mobility aids. The rest of the block has sidewalks raised by five steps; however, the bike lane offers a step-free route down the block with minimal car traffic.

Restrooms: All-gender restrooms. Just like at home.

Communication: All staff on site speak English. There will be one Spanish speaking staff member. We welcome communication via translation apps (Google Translate is available). While we do not use ASL, we’re happy to communicate through apps or other tools that work for you.

Alcohol Policy: No alcohol will be served or permitted at this event.

Masks: Masks are encouraged and supplied.
