FRASE:
a singer, producer & multi-instrumentalist from Montreal. With authenticity and lyrical finesse, his buttery, soulful voice sits atop lofty grooves that push the boundaries of contemporary electronic music.
Since his debut EP “Daggers & Shields” in 2015, he has captured the hearts of music lovers around the world with a sound that is analog and soulful, yet pushes to the future. With a voice the sounds reminiscent of the intimate, alternative R&B from the likes of, Mac Miller, and Sampha. Frase pairs it with productions that are more than the 4 on the floor rollers of Kaytranada and Disclosure.
Playing Jazz Festivals, back to back with EDM Raves, FRASE is blurring the lines of contemporary music performance. Original songs, mashup and remixes are delivered in a dynamic, up-beat live/hybrid show where Frase sings, plays guitar, or keys and bass all while dj’ing his productions and loops. Amplifying the liveness of the show and making things move is dancer, Embody MVMT. She is trained in Contemporary with a decade of experience in street dances: B-Girling, Popping and House. Their love story and dance collaboration began on the subs while opening for Fat Boy Slim, in Florence Italy in 2016 and they have been a power couple on a mission to move people ever since.
FRASE and Embody MVMT are lighting up crowds at world-class music festivals such as Bass Coast, Kaslo Jazz, Shambhala (4 years running), Pop Montreal, Canadian Music Week, Cumberland Wild and Tiny Lights. In the past 5 years they have been touring non-stop and have supported and shared the stage with such artists as: Dub Fx, Bonobo, Bedouin Soundclash, Fat Boy Slim, Noisia, Moontricks, The Funk Hunters, I M U R, Skiitour, Caracol, & Delhi 2 Dublin. All over Canada, Italy, Germany, and India.

Queenyy:
Stephanie Marcantonio, professionally known as Queenyy is a multi-faceted musical and movement artist based in Ottawa, Canada. She takes listeners on a journey across the world through an extensive series of rhythms. Her passion about music, travelling and dance has allowed her to excel when it comes to discovering, selecting, and mixing underground electronic global sounds across multi-genres.
Prioritising her movement artistry throughout 2023, Queenyy started the year by travelling to India to study yoga and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate in Ashtanga and Vinyasa. From there, she ventured to South Africa to further carry out her studies by experimenting with African street dance. This sparked her curiosity and formed her desire to allow these creative and mindful outlets to mesh. Queenyy took this opportunity to curate a ‘Yoga for Dancers’ series at Soweto’s Finest Dance Studio in Johannesburg.
You can now find her playing monthly in Ottawa at City Afterlight; she’s taken over the decks at events such as White Rabbit at City at Night, Basscamp, Capital Sessions at the NAC, Debaser: Pique. Festival, Music.Art.Ppl and Amashowza. At the top of this year, Queenyy sold out her first ‘Intuitive Movement’ workshop hosted at The Flava Factory in Ottawa. Bridging the gap between yoga and dance, Queenyy cultivates an open level, unique and safe space for people to find their rhythm freely and consciously to sound and breath. Facilitating a journey towards liberation, she guides a variety of active meditations exploring free flow movement, while educating the authentic roots of Yoga. With high demands of these unique offerings, Queenyy is set to facilitate more workshops and shows this year, combining both her musical and movement abilities.
