The Next Step (4 wks*)Ready to take your next step in your swing dancing journey? Then this class is for you!
Building off of the material taught in the introductory courses, our instructors’ practiced eyes will ferret out what you need next.
Dancers that are comfortable with six and eight count basic moves and the principles of leading and following are welcome to join us. Our class emphasizes learning in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. You do not need to sign up with a partner.
$85 for 4 weeks of classes plus entry to our monthly social dance, Jazz Cats Social and a Community Dance Practice on Oct 1.
Instructors: Barney Lee & Katie Tang
Location: New Westminster Secondary School - dance studio
Classes will start at 8:30pm and run until 9:40pm - please arrive by 8:20pm on the first evening to check in and sign your waiver.
*Classes will be held on Sept 17 & 24, and Oct 8 & 15. Participants are invited to attend a free Community Dance Practice on Oct 1.
