Introduction to Social Swing Dancing (4 wks*)
Learn to dance to jazz music in a fun and safe environment, and discover how to connect with a partner and the music with our vibrant community of dancers.
This class is intended for those with absolutely no experience, or those wishing to solidify their understanding of six-count steps and technique in their quest for mastery. No partner necessary!
$85 for 5 weeks of classes plus entry to our monthly social dance, Jazz Cats Social and a Community Dance Practice on Oct 1.
Instructors: Barney Lee & Katie Tang
Location: New Westminster Secondary School - dance studio
Classes will start at 7:05pm and run until 8:15pm - please arrive by 7pm on the first evening to check in and sign your waiver.
*Classes will be held on Sept 17 & 24, and Oct 8 & 15. Participants are invited to attend a free Community Dance Practice on Oct 1.
