About this Event
The Network Breakfast connects you with the expertise that flows within the decade-long relationships we’ve built and the tremendous grassroots leadership that serves as the fabric of this city. All participants will be offered a FREE day pass to return to Impact Hub for follow-up meetings and actions.
During these May and June sessions, we will shift our attention to the massive community redevolment commitments that have been made by Governor Wes Moore, Mayor Brandon Scott, and others to infuse resources into Baltimore City neighborhoods. This represents an unprecedented opportunity to address vacancy challenges and to redistribute massive amounts of assets and wealth.
Small developers, small business owners, and supportive partners have been a core sector of our community for the last decade. In 2025, Impact Hub Baltimore has led convenings with these leaders to explore the:
- Realities, barriers, needs, and solutions that have been playing out in community reinvestment efforts
- Practices, policies, and resources that would shift the trajectory of community wealth and vitality in Baltimore City
Who Will You Hear From?
Join The Network for the first of two sessions to discuss key insights from our conversations with small developers and partners who aim to meet community needs, serve legacy residents, and build local wealth.
We will hear from subject matter experts and delve into small group discussions and networking that advance our collective goals.
Speakers will be invited and announced in mid-April.
Who will get the most out of this event?
This conversation is for anyone working within institutions, organizations, communities, agencies, or enterprises who are committed to community reinvestment. All are welcome.
This topic can involve a lot of complexity and specialized expertise. Our goal will be to make our conversation as accessible and useful as possible to as many people as possible–especially community leaders and practitioners in this space. Experts and non-experts alike will learn something and leave with new connections. All participants will be offered a FREE day pass to return to Impact Hub for follow-up meetings and actions.

Event Context
In 2025, Impact Hub Baltimore is celebrating 10 years of building community and driving progress in Baltimore City. Throughout the year, we will elevate the people and innovations that have shaped where we have been and where we are going next.
The Network Breakfast series will mobilize thought partners across our network that represent the institutions, organizations, entrepreneurs, and community leaders committed to building civic wealth.
These events will build insights and relationships that spark intentional systems change. Our dynamic network of leaders will share innovative models that demonstrate our ability to move past the status quo and build more effective, equitable outcomes. We will engage in dialogue around abundance mindsets, cooperative models, community redevelopment, and local procurement.
Participants will leave feeling more informed and inspired. They will also be empowered to ground their decision-making in the pragmatic advice and lived experience of small business owners and local leaders. Discussions will be tailored to surface what is true, what is possible, and what can be done to alleviate barriers and expand opportunities for growing civic and community wealth.
