We're delighted to welcome The Mystery Prize to The Engine Room for the first evening of a new monthly residency.
The Mystery Prize are a guitar and double bass duo with a Country and Rockabilly flavour. As the name suggests, expect a unique take on an eclectic mix of retro favourites—from classic country and early rock 'n' roll to Americana and roots music.

Whether you're a fan of Johnny Cash, Elvis, Carl Perkins, rockabilly, western swing or simply great live music, join us for an evening of stripped-back performances in the intimate surroundings of The Engine Room.
This is the first in what we hope will become a regular fixture on Southport's live music calendar.
