A weekend of events to celebrate the connections between Monaghan and Tyneside, presented by the Treinfhir Clan.
Friday 19th September
Venue: Tyneside Irish Centre, Gallowgate Room.
7:30pm – Aspects of Migration between the South Ulster Borderlands and Tyneside. Presented by Seamus Treanor.
9:00pm – Traditional music by the Tony Corcoran Ceili Band, with a late bar and buffet.
Saturday 20th September
2:00pm – Guided walking tour of places of interest for Tyneside Irish. Meet at Grey’s Monument, guided by Stephen Taylor.
Free attendance, but registration is required.
