This September, we’re opening the gates to one of Britain’s oldest working depots - Heaton TrainCare Centre - for a special event 150 years in the making.
To mark this incredible milestone, and as part of the Railway 200 national celebrations, Heaton will come to life with a weekend full of heritage, hands-on experiences, and behind-the-scenes access you won’t find anywhere else.
Whether you're a lifelong train enthusiast, a curious visitor, or just looking for a brilliant family day out, there’s something for everyone.
