David Dyer Van Slooten has performed stand-up at comedy clubs, theatres, and corporate events for over twenty-five years. He’s worked with some of the best comics in the industry including Mike Birbiglia, Jim Breuer, and Lewis Black. He’s been a contributing writer to NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “ABC’s Politically Incorrect”. He’s a frequent guest on the nationally syndicated “Bob and Tom Show” and often appears on the roster for their “Friends of The Bob and Tom Show” comedy tour. He has a DryBar Comedy Special called “Further Along than Anyone Expected” with over 1 million views. At the age of 49, David became a Paid-On-Call Firefighter with Grand Rapids Township Fire Department and at the age of 53, became a Full-Time firefighter with that same department. In November of 2021, he was a presenter at the prestigious TEDx Detroit event where he spoke about his careers in both comedy and the fire service.
Melanie Hearn is a native of Detroit and is known for her unique voice in stand-up comedy. Her unabashed style and infectious energy always leave audiences and fans wanting more. She began her career in Detroit and quickly became a favorite at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle. Since then, sheor well-known comedians such as Maria Bamford, Mark Curry, and Preacher Lawson. Melanie has been has opened up f privileged to perform at world-famous venues such as the Hollywood Improv and the Comedy Cellar. Melanie Hearn is a comedian who is widely regarded as one of the most unique voices in stand-up comedy today. Born and raised in Detroit, she began her career as a comedian in the city and quickly became a local favorite. Her personality, energy, and unabashed style have endeared her to audiences and fans alike, and she has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting comedians in the business.
Mike Geeter: As an Ivy League dropout and community college graduate from Pontiac, MI, Mike brings a pointed look at life, family, and relationships that few others can…or should. From his upbringing in a family with 17 children to discussing his life as a father, Mike’s comedy is jagged wit mixed with a smooth delivery. Mike has worked in some of the finest comedy venues in the country to work with mainstream comedians as Kevin Hart, Hannibal Burress, Jim Norton, Artie Lange, Rickey Smiley, and Natasha Leggero to name a few. Mike was featured on Hulu and Fox Television’s comedy showcase “Laughs” (Season 1) and the Detroit episode of “Kevin Hart Presents: Hart Of The City 2” on Comedy Central (Season 2).
Mike is the founder of SamRose productions, and his first full length comedy CD “The Charm Offensive” available on all digital platforms.
