This a beginning level, Mid-Victorian dance class focusing on the dances that will be taught at the Middle Georgia Whimsical Masquerade Ball on Dec. 6th. We will be learning versions of the Grand March and Oslo Waltz. These are historical dances that will be danced to Fantasy music. The dance class will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Decatur School of Ballet, Sams St. Annex. You don't need to attend class to dance at the ball. The two dances will be taught and called.
If you purchased a ticket to the ball, the discounted rate for class is $5.00. The regular price for class is $14.00 adult/$11.00 students, prepaid. The cost per class at the door is $ 20.00. Prepayment can be made with PayPal ([email protected]), Cashapp ($katpengnagar), or Venmo (www.venmo.com/u/kat-nagar). No partner is needed. Please wear comfortable clothing and flat soled shoes. Costumes are welcome! Please arrive a few minutes before class so that we can begin on time.
