But why take a real-life class? While there are many online tutorial resources out there, the only way to learn things like tension and get actual feedback is from in-person instruction. Additionally, many shibari and rope classes require some basic knowledge in order for them to be beneficial. This class is designed to give you that foundation so that you can continue your journey along whatever path you choose!

DO I NEED TO HAVE MY OWN ROPES?
Nope, we will have ropes available for use. However, if you have your own ropes, feel free to bring them. Additionally if you don't have ropes and would like some of your own, we will have rope available for purchase.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THIS?
Make sure you eat something so your brain is well-fueled! Also, be sure to practice good hygiene beforehand so everyone is comfortable with the closeness shibari requires :)

WHAT DO I WEAR?
You want form-fitting clothes you can move freely in. Think yoga-attire! Just avoid anything too silky/slippery as it may make it harder to keep ropes where you place them.

DO I NEED A TYING PARTNER?
Nope. Everything you will learn in 101 can be tied on yourself. However, if you'd like to bring a friend/partner, you can buy our 2-Pack Shibari 101 package for $49.
