About this Event

Join award-winning director, writer, and choreographer Sandra Laronde for an evening exploring the creative journey behind She Holds Up the Stars and its acclaimed stage re-imagination, recently nominated for eight Dora Mavor Moore Awards.

The award-winning creative will discuss the multidisciplinary production presented by Red Sky Performance , a powerful Indigenous story of beauty, resilience, and belonging brought to life through live puppetry, movement, live music, and visual storytelling.

Hosted by arts and life reporter Aparita Bhandari, the conversation will offer audiences a rare look inside Laronde’s creative process and artistic vision, enhanced by imagery and puppets from the production.
