The Making of an Artist | School Holiday Workshop | Melbourne
About this Event
Across the day, students will engage in immersive seminars, masterclasses, and mentorship sessions led by active industry professionals. Areas of focus include songwriting, lyricism, arrangement, performance, and music business - equipping participants with both creative and practical tools used in today’s music landscape.
Students will collaborate in ensembles to create an original song from concept to completion. This includes writing, arranging and developing promotional strategies, culminating in a live auditorium performance and a professionally produced live recording session - providing students with an authentic live recording experience that celebrates their performance and results in a tangible record of their creative work.
Guidance throughout the program is delivered by a vibrant team of active industry professionals across performance, songwriting, production and music management. Bringing fresh, real-world insight, energy, and an “industry-first” perspective to every session our mentor team will offer practical guidance and a genuine look into what it takes to thrive in today’s music world.
This is more than a workshop - it’s an electrifying glimpse into the creative, collaborative, and professional reality of life in music.
Please note the workshop will run from 9am to 5:30pm.
