The Makers Market - Winter Edition

The Makers Market is a seasonal gathering that uplifts Manchester’s Black creators be that makers, artists, designers, food vendors, and small business owners, while welcoming people of all backgrounds to experience the richness of our community.

As you enter, you’ll be greeted by a colourful space shaped by unity, creativity, and collective empowerment. Browse stalls filled with handmade treasures, original artwork, clothing, home goods, wellness items, and delicious food, all crafted and curated by talented Black makers. Meet the faces behind your favourite brands and discover new creatives to support.

In addition to the marketplace, we’ll be hosting two workshops designed to introduce and celebrate principles of Kwanzaa. These hands on sessions are a welcoming opportunity for anyone, whether reconnecting with cultural roots, learning something new, or simply curious, to explore the values that guide this celebration of community, creativity, and purpose.

The Makers Market is open to all faiths, all ages, and all communities. It’s a space for the Black community to gather and celebrate, and for everyone to support, learn, and enjoy.
