Blending expert insights with women’s real experiences, the film looks at how perimenopause affects your heart, bone, brain, and sexual health, and the solutions helping women thrive through it.

As healthcare systems and cultural attitudes differ from country to country, at hermaid we will use this film as a starting point to contextualise perimenopause within the German healthcare system. After the screening, we will host a discussion with invited guests, including perimenopause specialists, doctors and members of the community, to examine the possibilities and limitations of the current support structures and explore ways to improve understanding and support for this life stage.
