Glossop Cinema Club is a new monthly night that will - usually - take place on the 2nd Sunday of the month upstairs at The Globe in Glossop.
Our Christmas screening is the explosive action movie The Long Kiss Goodnight, a somewhat over-looked 90s thriller featuring a great buddy-pairing of Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson.
Davis plays an amnesiac schoolteacher who sets out to recover her identity with the help of a private detective (Jackson), and with a script by Shane Black (Lethal Weapon) and direction from Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger) you know it's not going to be long before all Hell breaks loose!
Don't miss this crowd-pleasing bonanza of festive fun upstairs at The Globe, Glossop to kick-start your Christmas with a bang, then a kaboom, then a "Holy s**t!".

Accompanied by bespoke playlists, short film bonuses, a little bit of prize-winning, hand-made zines, and other such sundries, we're aiming to create a fun-filled film-packed end to your weekend; that ends early enough for a nice night's sleep before Monday!
Take advantage of The Globe's fully vegan menu, including their delicious Sunday roast, beforehand, food is served from 1pm on Sundays. You will also be able to grab some snacks and drinks from behind the bar to take up for the screening.
