The Long & Short: A Night of True StoriesThe Long & Short is an evening of true and personal storytelling. Each month, we gather to hear ordinary people share extraordinary moments from their lives. No stage experience required - at The Long & Short a storyteller is simply anyone with a story to tell.
Every month is guided by a unique theme. This month’s theme is “Out of This World.” This month we're looking for stories of the paranormal, of the spooky variety or the times you felt blown away: by kindness, by the world's wonder or the stupidity of others ;)
The stories can be funny, heartfelt, or even a little unexpected. Where you're sharing your own story or coming along to listen, prepared to connect with your neighbours over a shared experience.

If you're sharing a story remember our simple rules:
- Stories must be true
- Stories must belong to you
- Stories must be shared in around 5 minutes (hard stop at 6!)
