About this Event
The Living Treasures of RHS Garden Wisley
Join us for an evening with Matthew Pottage, previous Curator of RHS Garden Wisley and the newly appointed Head of Horticulture and Landscape Strategy at The Royal Parks, as he shares the inside scoop on unusual plants and other garden stories which regular visitors might not be aware of.
Matthew's new role at the Royal Parks includes management of key initiatives such as restoration projects across Richmond Park and Bushy Park, as well as the charity’s latest flagship project to create a new garden in Regent’s Park to commemorate the life and work of Queen Elizabeth II.
Matthew is a trustee of Fulham Palace and a Gardens Committee member for the Chelsea Physic Garden, London. He is also known for his appearances as a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time.
Thank you for your support. All proceeds from this walk go to support The Friends of Cannizaro Park, a registered charity, whose aims are to provide oversight of the park in relation to its maintenance by the London Borough of Merton and to strive to commission improvements to the Park for the benefit of visitors and the local community as a whole.
