The Link Series Hike & Trail Run▪️Over a series of 6 weeks, you will explore various 4-6 mile routes, which together form the whole 20-mile Village Link route.
▪️The Village Link connects all of Bury’s historical villages and is mainly on trail paths passing by a series of iconic landmarks, woodland and open meadow - truly showcasing the stunning green spaces around the town.
▪️The full route passes through the villages of Nangreaves, Holcombe, Hawkshaw, Affetside, Ainsworth and Greenmount.
▪️For each of the 6 weeks we will meet at different locations to explore the following sections of the route - starting locations will be sent via email.
🗓️ Week 1 - 23/02 & 27/02 - Ramsbottom & Grants Tower
🗓️ Week 2 - 02/03 & 06/03 - Hawkshaw & Peel Tower
🗓️ Week 3 - 09/03 & 13/03 - Two Brooks Valley & Affetside
🗓️ Week 4 - 16/03 & 20/03 - Walshaw & Ainsworth
🗓️ Week 5 - 23/03 & 27/03 - Kirklees Valley Local Nature Reserve
🗓️ Week 6 - 30/03 & 03/04 - Summerseat & Nangreaves

All of the Link Series routes are circular covering 4-6 miles across a wide variety of terrain. Some areas may be muddy, boggy or uneven underfoot.
Any specific requirements for the event will be emailed prior, however please get in touch via email if you have any questions in advance of booking.
