The Lift Off at Home Gym Con

The Lift-Off at Home Gym Con is a sanctioned USA Weightlifting meet produced by Meet Week Co. Registration will end ONE WEEK prior to the event or when registration sells out. A start list will be sent the evening that registration ends.

Competition will consist of Youth and Open division sessions. All athletes will also receive a weekend pass to HomeGymCon.

LOCATION: Kentucky Convention Center (Louisville, KY) at HomeGymCon.

SCHEDULE: An example of the schedule is listed below - this is not a final schedule. Please be aware that sessions may be added or times adjusted based on registration. No times are final until you receive your email the week of the meet. We will confirm the schedule as it gets closer and we know how many registrants we have. The competition will take place on Friday and Saturday, during HomeGymCon, with the competition on the expo floor. See the floor map here.

FRIDAY

1st Session: Weigh-In 12:30 pm, Lift 2:30 pm

2nd Session: Weigh-In 2:00pm, Lift 4:00 pm

3rd Session: Weigh-In 3:30 pm, Lift 5:30 pm

ELITE MENS SESSION Session: Weigh-In 5:00 pm, Lift 7:00 pm

SATURDAY

1st Session: Weigh-In 8 am, Lift 10 am

3nd Session: Weigh-In 9:30 am, Lift 11:30 am

ELITE WOMENS SESSION: Weigh-In 11am, Lift 1:00 pm

5th Session: Weigh-In 12:30pm, Lift 2:30 pm

6th Session: Weigh-In 2:00pm, Lift 4:00pm

EQUIPMENT PICKUP: 5:30PM

*ALL EQUIPMENT IS SPONSORED AND WILL BE FOR SALE AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE. PURCHASED EQUIPMENT CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE END OF THE MEET.

ORDER OF LIFTS: Snatch, Clean & Jerk.

All weights used in Kilograms

All lifters must have a current USAW membership in order to lift. Membership and equipment will be checked at weigh-in. For specifics on equipment allowances, please refer to the IWF Rules page linked here. Lifters must attend weigh-in wearing a singlet and compete in a singlet.

SPECTATORS: Spectators will be allowed at the meet but must purchase admission to HomeGymCon. Admission can be purchased here. ALL REGISTRANTS WILL GET ADMISSION AS PART OF THEIR REGISTRATION.

SPONSORSHIPS & PRIZES: Sponsorships spots are available. Please email [email protected] with any inquiries. Cash and other prizes will confirmed as we get closer to the meet. Cash prizes will be supported by HomeGymCon as well as equipment sponsors and prizes. Last year we gave away over $30,000 in equipment PLUS cash prizes.

Prizes guaranteed for: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Male and Female overall. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Male and Female Youth Overall.

ENTRY FEES: $80 Youth registration, $125 Open registration with spots for Open Men and Open Women. More spots will open if available, fully dependent on scheduling in partnership with HomeGymCon. Elite division will be determined by the top entries for Men and Women.

All Divisions in both Men’s & Women’s classes are included, including youth.
