Following on the many successes of our previous Blood Bowl 7s tournaments, Crookes & Crosspool Tabletop Gaming (C&CTG) are pleased to host their very first K*ll Team tournament, 'KRKUR KOMMANDOS (AUTUMN 2024)', at their 'home base' of Crookes Social Club, Mulehouse Road, Sheffield. Please note that this tournament will be using the very latest K*ll Team 2024/version 3.0 ruleset, together with the Approved Ops 2024 cards. 3 x games will be played from the 'Approved Ops Mission Pack (2024)', with the 'Crit Ops' and 'Non-specific Killzone Maps' being chosen at random by the Tournament Organiser (TO). All gaming boards/mats/terrain will be supplied by C&CTG. Terrain setups will be undertaken by the TO and will NOT be uniform across the gaming tables (though all terrain will be colour-coded to indicate whether it's light, heavy, etc.).
Entry is £15 per person (plus a small fee to Eventbrite) for a full day's gaming, which includes a FREE raffle ticket, with a chance to win a great raffle prize (TBC, additional tickets can be bought at £1 each).
If you'd like to attend, please visit the following Eventbrite link, where you can buy your ticket for the tournament (as noted above, Eventbrite charge a small processing fee, in addition to the £15 entry):

There is plenty of parking availability at the club, both in the car park and on the streets immediately next to it. The club is also a 5-minute walk from the 52/52a bud stop.
WHAT DO ATTENDEES NEED TO BRING?
- A valid K*ll Team (please see restrictions, below)
- A paper or digital copy of your K*ll Team operatives' data cards
- Equipment choices (barricades, ladders etc - though the club has 20+ barricades to lend out to those that need them)
- Appropriate tokens
- Approved Ops 2024 cards
- Dice, measuring sticks, etc.
As mentioned above, there's no need to bring any K*ll Team boards/mats/terrain - the club has more than enough mats/terrain to accommodate everyone!
Prizes include:
1st place - Large trophy, plus an official K*ll Team dice bag, an official K*ll Team boxset (from a choice of several), and an unofficial KT ruler set (courtesy of Etsy/Ebay shop owner, Cole 3D).
2nd place - Medium trophy, plus an official K*ll Team dice bag, and an unofficial KT ruler set (courtesy of Etsy/Ebay shop owner, Cole 3D).
3rd place - Small trophy, plus an unofficial KT ruler set (courtesy of Etsy/Ebay shop owner, Cole 3D).
4th place - An unofficial KT ruler set (courtesy of Etsy/Ebay shop owner, Cole 3D).
Last place - wooden spoon (literally, a wooden spoon), plus an unofficial KT ruler set (courtesy of Etsy/Ebay shop owner, Cole 3D).
Best painted - small trophy, plus a luxury C&CTG dice bag that doubles as a dice tray (courtesy of Boardgame Solutions).
TOURNAMENT RESTRICTIONS/RULES:
- A K*ll Team that's valid in K*ll Team 2024/version 3.0 (i.e. 'classified year 1' or 'classified year 1 or 2') - please see the latest list available at www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/downloads/K*ll-team
- Proxies or 3D-printed miniatures may be used; however, the 'what-you-see-is-what-you-get' principles should be adhered to as close as possible (e.g. if the model is meant to have plasma gun, but isn't holding one, then an appropriate token/marker should be placed next to the model to indicate that they DO have a plasma gun).
- The same K*ll Team must be used throughout the tournament; HOWEVER, a player has the option to change individual operatives from game-to-game, as certain operatives may be preferable when playing certain scenarios/against certain K*ll Teams. Therefore, to ensure each player's choice is made 'in secret' (as per the rules), they will need to write down their chosen operatives at the start of each game (each player will be provided with 3 mini roster sheets, one for each game).
- Points will be awarded for wins (2pts) and draws (1pt), with the total Victory Point (VP) difference across all games and total VPs scored across all games (in that order) being used in the event of tiebreaks.
2h 15m allowed per game (3 games total).
As noted above, all games played will be taken from the 'Approved Ops Mission Pack (2024)', with the 'Crit Ops' and 'Non-specific Killzone Maps' being chosen at random by the TO. The TO will also set up the terrain.
Arrive/register: 9.30am
Game 1: 10.15am - 12.30pm
Break for lunch at 12.30pm; 'best painted' entries are judged (with winner announced at end)
Game 2: 1.30pm - 3.45pm
Game 3: 4.00pm - 6.15pm
Tournament rankings (including 'best painted') announced just before 6.30pm
The latest K*ll Team 2024/version 3.0 edition of the rules will be used, with the latest FAQ up to and including 22 November 2024 applying.
If you have any questions, please send an email to [email protected] and I'll do my best to help you.
This is a self-policing tournament; any issues should be resolved between players or, if necessary, ruled on by the TO.
In the case of odd numbers, a 'bye' will be applied (first at random, then randomly to one the lowest scoring coaches in the bottom six at the start of each round). A 'bye' will count as a 'win' (i.e. 2pts) with 15vps and a +5vp difference.
Above all, this is meant to be a fun and light-hearted tournament and should not be taken too seriously (though, of course, there are some top prizes to be won!)
Please note that all proceeds from this event will go towards C&CTG's gaming funds (less room hire fees, etc).
