EMILY HICKS BIO:
Emily Hicks is a Utah-based Country/Americana singer-songwriter whose soaring powerhouse vocals, nature-infused lyrics, and quippy stage banter have captivated audiences far and wide. With the release of her debut album, “Weird Wild Wonderful,” Emily’s music found its way to radio stations across the globe, breaking into top folk radio charts. Since then, she’s had the honor of opening for some of her musical heroes, including Tenille Townes, Daniel Rodriguez, and Sixpence None the Richer. Side effects of listening may include (but are not limited to): an overwhelming urge to book a five-day backpacking trip through the Wasatch Mountains, the sudden realization that you need therapy immediately, and/or a newfound appreciation for canned wine.
SECOND HAND SAGE BIO:
“If it’s not fun, don’t do it!” That’s the guiding spirit of Second Hand Sage, a Bigfoot-loving band of misfits from Southern Oregon. With Rod Kucera (vocals, mandolin, harmonica), Treve Sears (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Jim Fischer (guitar), Dean Oliver (bass), and Paul Allen (drums, vocals), the quintet stomps across genres from outlaw country and southern rock to garage folk and jam-band improvisation.
Part comedy, part musical provocation, Second Hand Sage delivers songs that wink at local life (“State of Jefferson”) and spin tall tales of romance (“Babysitter Song”). Known for stretching songs when the dance floor demands it, the band thrives on spontaneity, laughter, and connection. Whether on stage or around a campfire, Second Hand Sage plays for the joy of it, inviting everyone to join the stomp.
