On Saturday, June 13th, from 12 PM to 8 PM, the Katherine's Light Foundation will proudly host the Katherine Mueller All-Day Music Festival at the Severna Park Taphouse. This annual event is a heartfelt tribute to the cherished memory of Katherine Mueller, who bravely fought against Neuroendocrine Tumor Cancer before her passing in 2021. We are deeply grateful to this year's Presenting Event Sponsor, Landmark Roofing, for their generous support, which plays a vital role in our mission to raise awareness and foster hope within our community. Join us for a day filled with music, camaraderie, and inspiration as we come together to honor Katherine's legacy and make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by cancer.Throughout the day, attendees can look forward to an exciting lineup of live music, with full bands performing outside under the tent, while an acoustic listening room awaits inside. The featured bands taking the stage outdoors include Cameron Fryes, the Lost and Found Trio, TMI, and Honey Sol, culminating in a captivating performance by Nashville recording artist MIGGS from 6 PM to 8 PM. Inside, the acoustic atmosphere will be enriched by talented artists such as Ray Paice and Billy Z, among others, creating a delightful experience for all music lovers.
In addition to music, there will be a silent auction, raffle, and live auction, as well as a 50/50 raffle and more. Some of the live auction items include a Deep Creek home rental, an Ocean City condo, a Pinehurst golfing condo, and a fishing charter for six aboard the Simonizer, captained by Lenny Simmons. Silent auction items include a 21-day membership from Park Fitness, gift baskets from Cafe Mezzanotte, a home wash from CheckMark Power Wash, a hotel stay at Live! Casino & Hotel with dinner for two at The Prime Rib, a Whimsicality basket, and much more. Park Hardware is also providing a $2,700 Napoleon grill, with $25 raffle tickets available for purchase.
Last year Katherine's Light Foundation donated $100,000 to seven local area non-profits to support education, research and awareness for those on a cancer journey.
