The Island Country Festival by Gapura

Gapura is hosting our third The Island Country - Philadelphia's Annual Indonesian Independence Day Celebration. The celebration will feature a series of events starting with an opening parade, folk games, sports tournaments, karaoke contests, and culminating in a community festival at Fleisher Art Memorial. This year's theme, Tropical Indonesian Flowers, will showcase Indonesian cultural traditions throughout the archipelago, highlighting ornate costumes, music, folk games, dance, food, photobooth and elaborate carnival costumes at the festival.
