Enjoy a Saturday of free family activities at the National Constitution Center honoring the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s 1963 March on Washington.
Presented as part of the Association for Public Art’s installation by Paul Ramírez Jonas at nearby Cherry Street Pier, the program features art-making workshops, craft projects, gallery activities, musical performances by Play On Philly students and Marian Anderson Historical Society Scholar Singers, and a special talk exploring the history of patriotic songs like “My Country ’Tis of Thee.”
