Dr. Amanda Cheromiah is the Executive Director of the Center for the Futures of Native Peoples at Dickinson College and an advocate for Indigenous education and storytelling. She is the granddaughter of six Carlisle Indian Industrial School students and believes in empowering Indigenous Peoples through storytelling, advocacy, and mentorship. Dr. Cheromiah holds a Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Arizona and previously served as the assistant senior director of the Alaska Native science and engineering program at the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
