'Wintertime Steam'
A digital program featuring several winter steam train events will be presented by Alex Mayes. The program begins with scenes from the Cumbres & Toltec’s line-clearing event with steam-powered snow blower OY between Chama and Cumbres Summit on February 29 and March 1, 2020, followed by a trip on the Durango and Silverton’s excursion to Cascade Wye the next weekend. The program then segues to February 2008 with scenes from “Winter Steam Spectaculars” on the Nevada Northern Railway and the Heber Valley Railroad. Scenes from visits to a few National Parks and Native American sites are included.
