About this Event
The Honest Body Workshop is a 90-minute experiential workshop exploring body image through the lens of worth, identity, and self-value.
Rather than focusing on fixing or loving our bodies all the time, this experience invites a shift towards body neutrality, and remembering that your value is not something your body earns or proves.
Through guided movement, reflective journaling, breathwork, and community conversation, we will explore:
- Where self-worth has been placed externally
- How body image has shaped identity and self-perception
- How to reconnect with value that exists beyond appearance
This workshop blends education, embodied practice, and creative expression in a supportive, non-judgmental space. Participants will be invited to gently notice resistance, internal narratives, and cultural conditioning, and to begin rewriting their body story from a place of self-respect and inner knowing.
Come as you are. This space is for anyone seeking a more compassionate, grounded relationship with their body and self.
The Facilitators
is a trauma-informed coach, breathwork facilitator, and personal trainer whose work centers on body image, self-worth, and embodied healing. Her path into this work began through her own lived experience as a woman navigating eating disorder recovery, where she struggled to find safe, supportive spaces for healing. Over the past decade, Izzy has facilitated women’s circles, body image meetups, healing workshops, and coaching containers, including her Body Love Soul Method, supporting women in rebuilding a healthier relationship with their bodies, food, and self-worth. She has spoken on panels and stages on body image and identity, served as former Board President of The Soul Project supporting women and young girls, and brings this lens into all of her work today. Izzy integrates body-based healing into everything she offers, helping people reconnect with their bodies from a more empowered and compassionate place.
is a mental health speaker, licensed clinical social worker, and author with a background in social work and exercise science who helps women reconnect with their bodies, voices, and inner strength. Drawing from her own journey through a life-threatening eating disorder and years of feeling disconnected from herself, Morgan blends lived experience, movement-based insight, and emotional wisdom to redefine what it means to be strong. Her work centers on embodiment, self-trust, and unmasking the parts of ourselves we’ve been taught to hide. Through honest storytelling and empowering conversations, Morgan invites women to step out of shame, reclaim their bodies as allies, and rewrite their story from a place of authenticity, compassion, and courage.
is a wellness facilitator, yoga teacher, health coach and creative guide whose work centers on healing the relationship between body, food, self-worth, and emotional expression. Her path into this work began through her own lived experience navigating disordered eating, body image struggles, and using food and control as a way to cope with unprocessed trauma and emotions, all within the pressure of diet culture and societal standards. Two years ago, Annamarie made the courageous decision to move from New York to San Diego in order to reconnect with herself, regain her spark, and quite literally save her life.Alongside movement, Annamarie pursued an integrated nutrition program and became a health coach, deepening her understanding of the mind-body connection. Today, Annamarie teaches yoga and hosts wellness workshops and uses artwork that weave together movement, creative expression, and reflective practices to help others reconnect with their bodies and believe in their own light.
