Join us for a wine class centered around the vast history of Champagne and how war and climate shaped the world's most famous sparkling wine
About this Event

Champagne is one of the most legendary regions of the world. It is synonymous with prestige, class, and celebration. However, it's commonly said that the vineyards of Champagne have seen more war and battle than any other region in the world. The cold climate of the region has added to the hurdles in producing fine wines, forcing winemakers to innovate and refine wine production over the course of centuries, finally resulting on one of the best styles of wines in the world.

Join us for a casual seated wine class where we will discuss the rich history of Champagne and the factors that influenced the invention of the production of these world-famous sparkling wines while we sip some beautiful Champagne wines with our Wine Director, Erin Dudley, at Josephine!

Included with your ticket:

  • Seated wine class with certified sommelier and Neighborhood Restaurant Group Wine Director, Erin Dudley CSW
  • Tasting of six fine wines from Champagne
  • Small serving of artisanal cheese and accoutrements
