Uncovering Ukraine’s Hidden History (45 min)
Marina Trattner: Ukrainian journalist and Swedish lawyer has
thrown herself into uncovering hidden history of Ukraine. She has
devoted more than four years to the research of sources in
Swedish, French and German archives about Ukraine’s fight for
restoration of its statehood and independence since 1348.
Marina Trattner is the editor and complier of the book “Treasures
from the Swedish Archives. A Collection of Documents on History of
Ukraine”.
Many original sources published in this book were translated from
Swedish, Latin, Polish and French with assistance of Ukrainian
historians, during their breaks between combat at the front line.
