While certified tea primer Heather Schroeder has covered the "6 Types of Tea," there is a massive world of herbal infusions (tisanes) that often get overlooked. The focus of this class is exploring the profiles of root, barks, and flowers. Heather will focus on functional ingredients like the soothing properties of chamomile or the "zing" of ginger and hibiscus and how to build a balanced herbal brew that doesn't actually contain any Camellia sinensis. Registration is required.
The Herbalist's Pantry: Deep Dive into Tisanes will take place on Friday, June 26th from 2:00PM - 3:00PM in the Vira Stoner Flex Box. If you need an interpreter, translator, materials in alternate formats or other accommodations to access any library event, please call 920-832-6173.
