of John Denton on Vocals/Lead Guitar, Brandon Greenhalgh on Bass and Ted Ellis on Drums.
The band were formed in the late summer of 2022 and released their official debut single ‘Nowhere’
in December 2022 following it up with the single release of ‘Go’ in February 2023, ‘Control’ in April
2023, ‘One to Another’ in August 2023 & ‘I Know There’s More’ in October 2023. Most recently,
they released their biggest hit ‘Type of Days’ with a the B-Side, ‘Alleyway’ in February 2024. This
received great acclaim and was played around the country on UK, Irish & US radio. It was also on the
Manchester XS playlist for 3 full weeks.
Not only have their singles receiving much critical acclaim and praise from some pretty serious high
end radio and press but the band also caught the ear and eye of legendary The Smiths guitarist and
co-songwriter Johnny Marr who awarded lead vocalist/guitarist John Denton the first ever ‘The
Salford Foundation Trust Johnny Marr Award’. On a Radio Interview for BBC Radio 2, Johnny
referred to John as ‘The real deal’.
It's the sort of thing that many seasoned musicians can only dream of and it's made all the more
amazing when you factor in the band’s ages with Lead singer/Guitarist John being only 14 years old!
The bands hit, One to Another, was featured by Salford City in their launch of their 23/24 kit. The
music video was produced by Adidas and Pro-Direct Soccer. This brought hundreds of thousands of
social media views and great local acclaim. They even got featured on David Beckham’s Instagram!
